A Day Off

Saturday was spent as a day off after a long week of productive work. We traveled to church, which happened to be the first Church in Nepal! We then made our way to Lakeside once again, where we all sat down and ate lunch. Much of the day was spent admiring the beautiful view of the lake, and walking around the many shops, looking for souvenirs and gifts to bring home. Midway through the day we stopped at a small bakery for a cup of tea and some pastries. Finally, we found a spot where we could sit down for dinner and experience some Nepalese culture. A Nepalese traditional cultural dance program was performed at the outdoor restaurant where we ate. Also, Harrison decided to make friends with some fellow tourists from South Korea. All in all, today was a relaxing day off for the team, and we will finish up our work tomorrow on our final day here at the hospital.
